Gambling Harms Support

We offer support to women/people from minority ethnic communities impacted by Gambling Harms through our Holistic Recovery Programme.

Shama’s Holistic Recovery Programme

We know gambling harms is a hidden addiction and not often spoken about openly through fear of shame and guilt. Often in different cultures and communities people worry about the damage to their reputation and family name. Sadly, not many people know that there is support available and so they do not reach out.

Shama is here to support women and people in our local community suffering gambling harms. We know it is a difficult topic to discuss, and we are working hard to reduce the barriers and stigma that prevent people reaching out for help and support by raising awareness about gambling harms and knowing we are here to help.

We want to listen, help and support you….
We are here for you, a loved one, family member, friend or colleague affected by gambling harms.

We will treat you with respect and empathy in a non-judgemental safe space where you can talk to us and find out more information on the help and support, we can offer you or someone you know.
