Thank you to everyone who joined Shama Women’s Centre’s Celebration Event on Tuesday. It was an amazing day; celebrating the success of our service users and volunteers which was made extra special with Shama learning it had been awarded the Kings Award for Voluntary Service.
Our CEO, Khudeja Amer-Sharif , MBA , says “it made me so proud of all the hard work my amazing team of staff and volunteers have achieved over the years. It was humbling to hear our volunteers and service users share their personal journeys of how Shama had supported them through times of trauma; thank you for having the courage to speak!”
